Yandal Resources Ltd (ASX:YRL) managing director Chris Oorschot joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss promising assay results the company has received from follow-up reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Siona gold discovery within the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project in Western Australia. The company has drilled 10 holes covering 2,200 metres to test approximately 500 metres of strike in the New England Granite target area. Significant results include drill hole 24IWBRC0039, which extended an intercept by 29 metres to 107 metres at 1.0 g/t gold. This includes 5 metres at 3.2 g/t from 109 metres and 33 metres at 1.4 g/t from 139 metres. Based on the results, Yandal has extended its RC drilling program at Siona and is preparing for diamond drilling, expected to begin in December or January. Drilling efforts will focus on structural targets adjacent to Siona to explore broader mineralisation zones. Additional geochemical and geophysical investigations, including ground gravity and passive seismic, are planned. Results from soil sampling and aircore drilling across the broader project area are anticipated in 3-6 weeks. Oorschot highlighted that the results validated the geological model and confirmed the approximate geometry of mineralisation at Siona. He expressed optimism about the potential for broader mineralised systems across the New England Granite target area. #ProactiveInvestors #YandalResources #ASX #GoldExploration #SionaGold #IronstoneWellBarwidgee #GoldMining #WesternAustralia #RCDrilling #DiamondDrilling #MineralResources #MiningUpdates #GeologicalExploration #GoldDiscovery #Mineralisation #MiningNews #ExplorationDrilling #NewEnglandGranite #GreenstoneBelt #GoldTargets #ASX #GoldInvestments
