Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) managing director Chris Oorschot joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the reverse circulation (RC) drilling it has restarted at the recently identified Siona Prospect, part of the Ironstone Well–Barwidgee Gold Project in Western Australia. This new twelve-hole, 2,500-metre program seeks to explore the geometry and scope of gold mineralisation following significant results from previous drill holes. Earlier findings reported by the company include 78 metres at 1.2 g/t gold from 96 metres downhole and 14 metres at 1.8 g/t gold from 63 metres. Current drilling targets up and down dip positions relative to these promising intersections, as mineralisation remains open at multiple angles. The campaign, set to conclude within two weeks, may be extended if early results are positive. The company, well-funded, aims to develop the Siona geology model as it advances drilling and delivers samples efficiently. Yandal is also planning to explore comparable geological structures across the New England Granite region as it refines its geological understanding of Siona. The program’s initial results are expected in mid-to-late November, with further news anticipated before the end of the year. #ProactiveInvestors #YandalResources #ASX #GoldExploration, #SionaProspect, #IronstoneWellBarwidgee, #ASX, #MiningUpdate, #RCDrilling, #Geology, #Mineralisation, #GoldMining, #AustralianResources, #NewEnglandGranite, #YandalGreenstoneBelt, #Exploration, #ResourceDevelopment, #GoldDiscovery, #WesternAustralia, #ChrisOorschot, #MiningNews, #ResourceExploration
