Sipa Resources plans extensive drilling across WA projects

Episode Summary

Sipa Resources Ltd managing director Andrew Muir sits down with Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss preparations for an extensive drilling season across its Western Australian projects. The company has completed a site visit at Paterson North to prepare for a regional and vector-style drilling program targeting multiple prospects. Paterson North includes the significant 25-million-ounce Tefler gold mine and the Winu and Havieron discoveries, though much of the tenure remains unexplored. For the 2024 drilling season, Sipa plans to drill the north-eastern part of Paterson North and conduct an air core drilling program at the Skeleton Rocks Project. A detailed review of historical data for Skeleton Rocks confirmed its potential for nickel mineralisation, especially along the 7.5-kilometre Nicoletti Trend, where previous drilling yielded nickel, cobalt, and chromium. At the Barbwire Terra Joint Venture with Buru Energy Ltd, Sipa is planning a ground gravity survey to cover a data gap in the south-eastern portion of the project. This will support targeting for a diamond drilling program in 2025, funded partly by an Exploration Incentive Scheme grant. At Warralong, data processing from mapping and sampling will inform future work plans targeting copper mineralisation. Additionally, at Wolfe Basin, Sipa plans a geophysical survey and drilling in 2025, with preliminary site visits and mapping to determine accessibility. Sipa continues to review its portfolio, remaining open to acquisitions, divestments, or joint ventures. #ProactiveInvestors #SipaResources #ASX #Mining #Drilling #WesternAustralia #PatersonNorth #SkeletonRocks #Nickel #Cobalt #Chromium #BarbwireTerraJV #GravitySurvey #Warralong #Copper #WolfeBasin #Exploration #Mineralisation #Geophysics #MiningProjects #ResourceDevelopment #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
