Replenish Nutrients CEO Neil Wiens and Chairman of the board Tim Close, the Chief Executive Officer of SRC, joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss its strategic investment by Spanish River Carbonatite or SRC that strengthens the partnership between the two companies and positions Replenish for its next phase of growth. Close, who serves as SRC’s CEO has joined Replenish’s board as Chairman following the investment. The transaction aligns SRC’s mineral resource assets with Replenish’s established fertilizer production, distribution, and customer network, creating what both executives believe is a powerful platform for growth in the regenerative agriculture sector. Wiens explained that the relationship began through product testing, as Replenish evaluated Spanish River Carbonatite as a component in its fertilizer blends. The results demonstrated strong agronomic performance, leading to discussions about securing a long-term supply relationship. Those conversations ultimately evolved into SRC becoming a strategic investor in the company. Close highlighted the unique qualities of the Spanish River Carbonatite deposit in northern Ontario near Sudbury, describing it as a naturally occurring source of calcium, potassium, phosphate, magnesium, trace minerals, and beneficial microbes. He noted that combining SRC’s mineral resource with Replenish’s fertilizer technology has produced promising results, with the products performing better together than independently. The investment is expected to play a key role in supporting Replenish’s growth strategy. Close said the funding will help facilitate a planned 150,000-tonne expansion at the company’s Beiseker, Alberta facility, significantly increasing production capacity as demand for sustainable and regenerative agricultural solutions continues to grow. At the same time, Replenish is advancing additional growth initiatives, including the commissioning of facilities in Beiseker, Minnesota, and another undisclosed location. These projects are designed to expand the company’s manufacturing footprint and improve access to key agricultural markets across North America. Wiens described the current stage of the company’s development as a major inflection point. He noted that Close brings extensive experience in capital markets, financing, and corporate growth, allowing him and co-founder Kevin to focus more directly on operations, product development, and customer acquisition. For SRC, the investment provides access to an established commercial platform with eight years of production history, a proven granulation facility, and strong distribution relationships throughout the agricultural sector. For Replenish, the partnership secures access to a unique mineral resource while adding strategic leadership and growth capital. Both executives believe the combination of SRC’s mineral assets and Replenish’s production and distribution capabilities creates a compelling opportunity to expand the adoption of regenerative fertilizer products while supporting healthier soils and more sustainable farming practices. #proactiveinvestors #replenishnutrientsholdingscorp #cse #erth #otc #vvivf #RegenerativeAgriculture #SustainableFarming #Fertilizer #AgTech #Agriculture #StrategicInvestment #CleanTech #FoodSecurity #BusinessGrowth #SRC #SpanishRiverCarbonatite
