Polymetals Resources updates on Endeavor Mine restart

Episode Summary

Polymetals Resources Ltd (ASX:POL) executive chairman Dave Sproule talked with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about the latest developments at the Endeavor Silver-Zinc Mine in central NSW, where underground rehabilitation is well underway. Sproule highlighted the company’s focus on accessing high-grade silver-zinc at the Upper North Lode, emphasising strong silver prices as a positive factor. He shared that recruitment had been successful, with 63% of new hires being local workers. Mining activities are progressing well, supported by strong equipment performance, including the Simba drill maintaining 200 metres per shift. Meanwhile, the processing plant is undergoing significant upgrades, ensuring reliability at restart. Sproule confirmed that commissioning remained on track for mid-April, with no critical delays expected. He pointed out that key upgrades such as a fresh grinding mill and an advanced on-stream analysis system, were set for delivery before commissioning. The company is focused on disciplined capital allocation, prioritising essential expenditures while deferring non-critical upgrades until cash flow supports them. "The nice-to-haves come from cash flow, not capital," Sproule stated.
