Lithium Australia in exclusive battery recycling deal with Infinitev

Episode Summary

Lithium Australia Ltd (ASX:LIT, OTC:LMMFF) managing director and CEO Simon Linge joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss a three-year exclusive agreement the company’s subsidiary Envirostream Australia has entered with Infinitev Australia, a provider of repurposed EV batteries. The deal focuses on the recycling of Infinitev-owned lithium and nickel-based batteries and aims to enhance Lithium Australia's battery supply chain. Infinitev will also recommend Lithium Australia's recycling services to its customers, further expanding its reach in the battery recycling sector. The agreement includes a service fee for collecting and recycling batteries, as well as revenue-sharing from the sale of Mixed Metal Dust (MMD) and Nickel Metal Hydride Batteries generated through the recycling process. Linge said this partnership contributed to building a circular economy, reducing battery waste and minimising environmental impact. Lithium Australia remains focused on securing additional contracts with other EV and Energy Storage System (ESS) manufacturers, following the strategy set out in 2024 to grow its commercial recycling model and achieve cash operating profits into FY25. #ProactiveInvestors #LithiumAustralia #ASX #Infinitev #EnvirostreamAustralia #BatteryRecycling #CircularEconomy #EVBatteries #SustainableEnergy #InfinitevAustralia #RecyclingAgreement #LithiumIonBatteries #NickelBasedBatteries #MixedMetalDust #EnvirostreamAustralia #BatteryWasteReduction #GreenEnergy #Sustainability #BatterySupply #EVRecycling #ESSManufacturers #EnvironmentalImpact #RecyclingProfit #OEMContracts #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
