Lightning Minerals Ltd (ASX:L1M) CEO Alex Biggs talked with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about the company’s drilling plans for the Esperança Project in Brazil’s Lithium Valley. The company has mobilised drill rigs and appointed Energold Drilling S.A. as its preferred drilling contractor after a competitive tender process. Biggs highlighted that the initial 2,000-metre drill program would focus on spodumene-bearing pegmatites identified in previous artisanal workings. The company aims to confirm lithium mineralisation at depth and explore potential repeating structures. Modular drill rigs will allow flexibility to adjust drilling plans as new data emerges.
