Just the Facts: Lithium Energy secures final Solaroz environmental approvals

Episode Summary

Proactive’s Tylah Tully breaks down ‘Just the Facts’ of the latest news from Lithium Energy Ltd. The company has received Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval for the next phase of exploration and evaluation at the Solaroz Lithium Brine Project in Argentina. The approval covers the Central Block and Northern Block concessions, which span more than 10,600 hectares and contain the majority of the project’s existing lithium resources. This follows EIA approvals granted in December 2024 for the Mario Angel and Payo concessions, enabling exploration and evaluation activities to resume across all Solaroz concessions. Under a sale agreement with CNGR Netherlands New Energy Technology (CNNET), Lithium Energy will sell its entire interest in Solaroz for US$63 million. CNNET is responsible for funding local operations and further development from January 1, 2025. Lithium Energy and CNNET are finalising a work program in line with the approved EIAs. Additional updates on exploration, evaluation and development will be provided once the program is confirmed. #LithiumEnergy #Solaroz #LithiumBrine #MiningNews #ASX #ArgentinaMining #LithiumExploration #BatteryMetals #CleanEnergy #MiningIndustry #EVBatteries #SustainableMining #ResourceDevelopment #GreenEnergy #LithiumInvesting #CNGR #EnvironmentalApproval #MiningProjects #ExplorationUpdate #RenewableEnergy
