Intra Energy Corporation Ltd (ASX: IEC) principal geologist Todd Hibberd joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to talk through results from a 1,960-metre reconnaissance drilling program at the Maggie Hays Hill (MHH) Project in the Lake Johnston Greenstone Belt, Western Australia. The company has identified large-scale lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) and gold systems. The LCT system extends over two kilometres with lithium grades peaking at 0.24%, alongside niobium and tantalum concentrations reaching 499 ppm and 788 ppm, respectively. Drilling tested seven pegmatites across 1,300 metres, revealing a broad LCT system enriched in several elements. Future efforts will aim to locate the core of the lithium system through additional geochemical analysis and further drilling, especially in untested areas to the west, east and north of the initial targets. The gold system, identified in the northern and central targets, exhibited low-grade mineralisation. Best results from the northern area included 2 metres at 0.3 g/t gold and 19 metres at 0.1 g/t gold, with notable base metal enrichment. While mineralisation was confirmed at both east and west reefs, the narrow and variable gold deposits suggest no further exploration is planned for these reefs. #Proactiveinvestors #IntraEnergyCorp #ASX #Lithium #Gold #Tantalum #Niobium #Caesium #MaggieHaysHill #Exploration #Mining #WesternAustralia #Pegmatites #GeologicalSurvey #MineralResources #IntraEnergyCorp #MiningNews #LCTSystem #GoldExploration #LakeJohnston #ReconnaissanceDrilling #RareMetals #Mineralisation
