International Graphite Ltd (ASX:IG6) CEO Andrew Worland joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the company’s highly promising drilling results from its Springdale Graphite Project in Western Australia. The diamond drilling program at the Mason Bay deposit revealed significant high-grade graphite mineralisation, with one of the standout results being 11 metres at 14.3% total graphitic carbon (TGC) from a depth of just 10.4 metres. This includes two sections of very high-grade graphite: 1 metre at 21.3% TGC and 3.1 metres at 26.5% TGC. Worland noted that Springdale is becoming increasingly important for the high-growth lithium-ion battery market and other industrial sectors. The shallow depth and oxide-rich mineralisation at the site offer the potential for low-cost mining, as demonstrated in the project's January 2023 scoping study. The company sees significant expansion potential, with only about 25% of identified targets drilled so far. Additional key results from the Mason Bay deposit include intersections such as 3.6 metres at 22.1% TGC, 33.2 metres at 12.0% TGC, and 6.11 metres at 11.4% TGC. Further drilling at the Springdale Central deposit is ongoing, with results expected soon. #ProactiveInvestors #ASx #InternationalGraphite #GraphiteMining #SpringdaleProject #HighGradeGraphite #LithiumIonBatteries #MiningResults #BatteryMaterials #GraphiteExploration #MasonBay #MetallurgicalData #GraphiteConcentrate #MiningAustralia #AndrewWorland #ASXIG6 #DiamondDrilling #GraphiteMarket #CriticalMinerals #GraphiteExpansion #MiningNews #BatterySector #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
