GTI Energy Ltd’s Bruce Lane talked with Proactive’s Tylah Tully about the company’s latest developments at its Lo Herma uranium project. Lane confirmed that mineralisation at Lo Herma is amenable to alkaline leach, achieving approximately 75% recoveries without optimisation. He emphasised that this is a significant step forward as the company moves towards its upcoming scoping study. GTI Energy recently upgraded its resource estimate to 8.57 million pounds, with 30% of that now in the indicated category. Lane explained that this aligns with other successful uranium projects in the region, reinforcing Lo Herma’s development potential. He also highlighted the importance of permeability testing, upcoming drilling results, and ongoing work to assess construction costs for an alkaline central processing plant. Looking ahead, GTI Energy expects to complete its scoping study within the first half of the year, potentially sooner.
