FireFly Metals extends Green Bay copper-gold mineralisation 460 metres beyond resource

Episode Summary

FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX:FFM) managing director Steve Parsons sits down with Proactive’s Meagan Evans to discuss recent assays from the Green Bay Copper-Gold Project in Canada, which showed high-grade mineralisation extending 460 metres beyond the current resource boundary. The company aims to expand the current resource, which is 39.2 million tonnes at 2.1% copper for 811,000 tonnes of copper equivalent. Two additional rigs are being sent to the project to support the accelerated resource growth and in-mine exploration. Parsons highlighted the exceptional step-out drilling results and the potential for substantial resource growth. With an aim to unlock the wider project area's value FireFly will also initiate regional geophysical surveys to identify similar targets. The Green Bay mineralisation features two distinct forms - high-grade VMS copper-gold and large-scale FWZ mineralisation. Recent VMS results include 26 metres at 8.2% copper equivalent while FWZ results include 55 metres at 1.8% copper equivalent. The results confirm continuous mineralisation between the current resource and the 460-metre step-out hole. FireFly is fully funded for its growth strategy, having raised $52 million through an equity raising in March. Today’s news sent FireFly shares up to 17.27% higher to A$0.815 for a market cap of around A$381.70 million. #ProactiveInvestors #FireFlyMetals #ASX #GreenBayProject #CopperGold #CopperEquivalent #Canada #VMSmineralisation FireFly Metals extends Green Bay Project #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
