Elixir Energy makes final preparations for Daydream-2 gas flow testing

Episode Summary

Elixir Energy Ltd managing director Neil Young joins Proactive’s Jonathan Jackson to provide an update on the Daydream-2 program within its wholly-owned Grandis Project in Queensland’s Taroom Trough. The company is in the final stages of preparing for the stimulation and testing of the Daydream-2 well. The upcoming weekend will involve milling out the plug set above the Lorelle Sandstone, followed by immediate post-stimulation flow testing. Due to the depth and high pressure of the well, additional health, safety, and environmental (HSE) inspections have been conducted. A Coil Tubing Unit (CTU), recently imported from New Zealand, has been function tested in cooperation with a neighbouring operator and is ready for use. The wellhead manifold and “Christmas Tree” valves have been pressure tested and are fully functional. Over 815,000 pounds of proppant and micro-proppant are being transported to the site for the five remaining stimulation stages following the Lorelle flow test. A 32-person camp has been established at the wellsite to reduce driving risks. Elixir plans to announce the results of the Lorelle Sandstone test by the end of next week, with further stimulation to follow. #ProactiveInvestors #ASX #ElixirEnergy #Daydream2 #GrandisProject #TaroomTrough #OilAndGas #WellTesting #Stimulation #LorelleSandstone #HSE #CoilTubingUnit #FlowTesting #Proppant #WellheadManifold #QueenslandEnergy #EnergySafety #NeilYoung #OilExploration #GasExploration #EnergyUpdate #FieldOperations
