Dune Oil raises over $3M, completes OTCQB transition and advances M47 exploration program

Episode Summary

Dune Oil CEO Scott Lower joined Steve Darling from Proactive to to provide a corporate update, discussing the company's recent financing success, its transition to a new OTCQB trading symbol and the next phase of development at its M47 oil exploration project. Lower said Dune Oil has raised more than $3 million this year, providing the capital needed to advance key project milestones and strengthen the company's position as it pursues exploration opportunities within its flagship M47 asset. A significant recent milestone was the completion of the company's OTCQB symbol change to DUNXF, aligning its U.S. trading symbol with both the company's name and its Canadian market presence. Lower described the move as the final step in Dune Oil's corporate transformation and an important measure to improve visibility and accessibility for U.S. investors. The company's shares continue to trade on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol DUNE, while its Frankfurt Stock Exchange listing under Z62 remains unchanged. Discussing the M47 project, Lower highlighted the substantial amount of work already completed on the asset prior to Dune Oil's involvement. He noted that more than $50 million has previously been invested in the project, including three rounds of seismic surveys and the drilling of two wells, providing a strong technical foundation for future development. According to Lower, the funds raised this year are being directed primarily toward completing the project's ongoing seismic program. The enhanced seismic work is expected to further define the property's resource potential and support advancement of two prospective fields identified within the project area. Lower emphasized that the company believes the project's economics have become increasingly attractive amid the stronger oil price environment. He noted that when Dune Oil initially evaluated the opportunity, oil prices were below US$70 per barrel, yet the project still demonstrated compelling economics. With oil prices now exceeding US$100 per barrel, Lower said the potential returns have become even more attractive, helping drive increased investor interest in the company and the broader energy sector. He also pointed to strong performance across the exploration and production industry, noting that the E&P sector has gained more than 50% year-to-date, reflecting renewed investor confidence in energy markets. Looking ahead, Lower said that once the current financing program is fully completed, Dune Oil expects to significantly accelerate its work program. The company remains focused on advancing seismic interpretation, refining drilling targets and positioning the M47 project for its next phase of development. Lower said the combination of a strengthened balance sheet, improved market visibility through the OTCQB listing and continued progress at M47 provides a solid platform for future growth and value creation. #proactiveinvestors #trillionenergyinternational #cse #tcf #otcqb #trlef #OilAndGas #EnergyStocks #OilExploration #M47Project #EnergyInvestment #SmallCapStocks #ResourceStocks #OilMarkets #EnergySector #CSE #JuniorEnergy #ProactiveInvestors
