Botala Energy Ltd (ASX:BTE) director and chair Wolf Martinick joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the company’s progress in Botswana with the company receiving environmental approval from the Department of Environmental Protection for the development of its Serowe Energy Hub. The project will include liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage and distribution facilities, a 24-megawatt (MW) solar/gas hybrid power plant, a 4MW solar tender to supply the local grid, service and storage facilities, and a small market gardening area. This approval covers all aspects of Botala's proposed gasfield and energy development plans, including commercial gas production, LNG facilities and pipelines connecting the Serowe gasfield to Leupane. The Serowe Energy Hub is part of a larger effort to supply LNG and electricity locally and to neighbouring countries. Botala is also preparing to start development on a 4MW solar project, with local stakeholders including the Serowe community's Ngwato Development Trust. In addition, the company is focused on its Serowe coal bed methane gas project and the development of the larger Leupane Energy Hub. #ProactiveInvestors #BotalaEnergy #ASX #SeroweEnergyHub #LNG #SolarEnergy #BotswanaEnergy #GasProduction #EnergyHub #RenewableEnergy #HybridPowerPlant #EnvironmentalApproval #CoalBedMethane #EnergyDevelopment #SustainableEnergy #SouthAfricaEnergy #CleanEnergy #EnergyTransition #PowerPlant #SolarPower #GasPipeline #EnergyInfrastructure #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
