He also stressed the growing importance of domestic energy supply, noting that Australia remains heavily reliant on hydrocarbons despite the push toward renewables. Underwood emphasised the broader investment case, pointing to a “massive gas resource” with increasing confidence in its economic viability and significant upside potential as development progresses.
