Australian Rare Earths Ltd (ASX: AR3) managing director and CEO Travis Beinke joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully after the company has announced a significant 27% expansion of its Koppamurra mineral resource estimate (MRE), increasing to 236 million tonnes at 748 ppm total rare earth oxide (TREO). The updated MRE also includes a 70% increase in higher-grade tonnes, with 68 million tonnes now grading over 1,000 ppm TREO. This development is a result of successful infill drilling, which defined higher-grade subsets of the deposit, and geographic extension to the northern areas, adding 25 million tonnes to the overall resource. The resource covers only about 2% of the 7,400 square kiometre Koppamurra tenure, leaving considerable potential for future growth. Managing director Travis Beinke highlighted the project’s potential to become a key supplier of rare earth elements. IHC Mining’s updated model shows improvements in geological understanding and grade definition, offering greater confidence in the resource’s quality. The expanded resource builds on previous estimates, with the latest infill drilling adding significant tonnage to both the measured and indicated resource categories. The project also shows significant exploration potential, with the target ranging from 500 million tonnes to 3.2 billion tonnes of rare earths across the entire Koppamurra area. #ProactiveInvestors #ASX #AustralianRareEarths #KoppamurraProject #RareEarths #MineralResource #ResourceExpansion #CriticalMinerals #RareEarthElements #InfillDrilling #MiningIndustry #StrategicMetals #Exploration #ResourceGrowth #HighGradeMinerals #MineralExploration #MiningNews #ASXUpdates #GeologicalModeling #RareEarthProduction #MiningDevelopment #ResourceEstimation
