Astral Resources (ASX:AAR) managing director Marc Ducle joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the increase in the company’s Feysville Gold Project's mineral resource estimate (MRE), now reported at 5 million tonnes grading 1.2 grams per tonne (g/t) for 196,000 ounces of gold. Combined with the Mandilla MRE, this brings Astral’s total gold resource to 1.46 million ounces, spanning 42 million tonnes at 1.1 g/t. The Feysville MRE incorporates deposits at Kamperman and Rogan Josh, as well as an updated estimate for Think Big, using a conservative gold price of A$2,500 per ounce and a cut-off grade of 0.39 g/t. Recent assays from a 31-hole drilling program at Kamperman were excluded from the current MRE, leaving potential for further resource expansion. Ducler highlighted several potential open-pit opportunities within Feysville that may enhance the Mandilla Project, which forms the company’s central development focus. With resource estimates constrained within a conservative gold price pit shell, Astral aims to refine its assumptions following the Mandilla pre-feasibility study (PFS) in 2025. Ducler also noted significant growth prospects from the Kamperman deposit, where an outstanding drill intercept may indicate further resource expansion potential. Revised MREs for Feysville and Mandilla are expected in early 2025. #ProactiveInvestors #AstralResources, #FeysvilleGold, #MandillaGoldProject, #GoldMining, #MiningNews, #GoldExploration, #WesternAustralia, #MineralResourceEstimate, #GoldPrice, #OpenPitMining, #KampermanDeposit, #ThinkBigDeposit, #RoganJoshDeposit, #GoldProduction, #ResourceExpansion, #DrillingProgram, #MandillaPFS, #GoldOunces, #ResourceGrowth, #Mining
