Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN, OTCQB:ANSNF) CEO Bruce Richardson joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss the latest developments at the company’s Green River Lithium project. It’s received final approval from the State of Utah, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Water Rights, to appropriate water (brine) for lithium extraction at its Green River Lithium Project. The application, originally filed in July 2023 through the company’s subsidiary Blackstone Minerals NV LLC, was granted after a reconsideration process completed this month. The approval permits the use of 19 cubic feet per second (0.54 cubic metres per second) of brine in a direct lithium extraction (DLE) process, with all extracted brine being returned to its original geological formation, making the process non-consumptive. The Utah Division of Water Quality approved the company’s underground injection control (UIC) technical report for the “UIC Class 5 Spent Brine Return” well last month. The extraction wells are planned for private land purchased by Anson in 2023, close to the proposed lithium extraction plant. Richardson highlighted the company’s commitment to environmentally friendly practices, noting that the DLE process reduces environmental impact compared to traditional evaporation ponds. The project is progressing rapidly, with the recent completion of the Bosydaba #1 well and the commissioning of the Sample Demonstration Plan. #ProactiveEnergy #ASX #AnsonResources #GreenRiverLithium #LithiumExtraction #DirectLithiumExtraction #DLE #BrineExtraction #NonConsumptiveProcess #EnvironmentalImpact #UtahApproval #WaterRights #SustainableMining #ResourceExtraction #LithiumProduction #GreenEnergy #PrivateLandDrilling #BosydabaWell #UndergroundInjection #ASX #OTCQB #MiningApproval #EnergyTransition #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
