Alligator Energy begins 2024 drilling at Nabarlek North Uranium Project

Episode Summary

Alligator Energy Ltd (ASX:AGE, OTC:ALGEF) CEO Greg Hall joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to talk about a drilling program at the Nabarlek North Uranium Project in the Northern Territory of Australia, amid an upsurge in the uranium market. The project targets unconformity-style uranium deposits in the Lower Cahill Formation, similar to those at Ranger, Jabiluka and the historic Nabarlek sites. This drilling campaign is the result of two years of systematic exploration, including geochemical testing, reconnaissance mapping and high-resolution airborne surveys. Up to 5,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling will be carried out across 10 locations by the contractor Topdrill. The company has secured all necessary approvals, including cultural clearances, and is supported by a Northern Territory Government co-funded stratigraphic drilling program valued at $100,000. Drilling is expected to take four to six weeks, with results anticipated by November 2024. Nabarlek North is a promising but under-explored area less than 7 kilometres north of the historic Nabarlek uranium mine. The 2024 exploration strategy focuses on regional and tenure-wide targets, aiming to replicate successful exploration models from nearby uranium deposits. The results will inform future exploration activities. #ProactiveInvestors #AlligatorEnergy #ASX #UraniumDrilling #NabarlekNorth #Exploration #MiningNews #NorthernTerritory #ARUP #UraniumMining #GeologicalSurvey #Topdrill #GeochemicalTesting #ResourceExploration #CulturalClearance #GovernmentSupport #ReverseCirculationDrilling #ProterozoicUnconformity #MineralExploration #EnergySector #MiningIndustry #AustraliaMining #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
