Trifecta Gold CEO Richard Drechsler joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's extensive Yukon exploration portfolio, its strategy of advancing promising gold targets towards discovery and its work across more than 30,000 hectares in the highly prospective Tombstone Gold Belt. Formed as a spin-out from project generator Strategic Metals, Trifecta Gold was established to identify attractive mineral targets, secure exploration funding and advance projects through early-stage exploration towards drilling and potential discovery. Drechsler explained that the company's business model is focused on the early stages of exploration, where systematic geological work can help identify promising targets and establish the foundation for future discoveries. Trifecta has assembled a portfolio covering more than 30,000 hectares within the Tombstone Gold Belt, a region that has attracted significant exploration investment and delivered several important discoveries since approximately 2020. The company has also completed its four-year earn-in commitment with Strategic Metals a year ahead of schedule. The agreement required share payments and $6 million in exploration expenditures to earn an interest in the properties. With those requirements fulfilled, the properties remain subject to a net smelter return royalty payable to Strategic Metals. The portfolio is anchored by the Mount Hinton project, located directly adjacent to Hecla Mining's operating mine in the Yukon. Trifecta also controls ten additional exploration targets extending farther east along the same belt of intrusive rocks. Drechsler said the company is particularly interested in identifying larger, bulk-tonnage intrusion-related gold systems, which could offer significant exploration potential across the region. At Mount Hinton, Trifecta has been conducting geological mapping and geological remodelling to improve its understanding of the structural controls associated with the property's high-grade gold veins. The work is intended to help refine exploration targets and identify areas that warrant additional investigation. The company has also completed additional surface exploration across projects in the Lansing area, including the Liam and Lois targets. Results from the summer field program are still awaited and are expected to provide further insight into the potential of these properties. Looking ahead, Trifecta's strategy remains focused on advancing its most prospective targets to the drilling stage, securing the necessary exploration capital and ultimately making new discoveries. With its earn-in commitments completed and a substantial land position established across the Tombstone Gold Belt, the company is working to build on its geological understanding and move selected Yukon projects towards the next phase of exploration. #proactiveinvestors #trifectagold #tsxv #tg #otcqb #trrff #YukonGold #TombstoneGoldBelt #MountHinton #GoldExploration #StrategicMetals #CanadianMining #IntrusionRelatedGold #MineralExploration #GoldDiscovery #JuniorMining #YukonMining
