Syntholene Energy Corp CEO Dan Sutton joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's synthetic jet fuel technology, the successful launch of its demonstration facility in northern Iceland and plans to secure long-term customer agreements as it moves towards commercial production. Sutton explained that Syntholene is developing a process to produce synthetic aviation fuel using captured carbon and hydrogen, with the goal of delivering a lower-carbon alternative to conventional jet fuel. The company is focused on producing premium specialty fuels while targeting a substantially lower cost structure than competing synthetic fuel producers. A major milestone for Syntholene has been the development of its demonstration facility in northern Iceland. Sutton said the project moved from permit acquisition to first production in just 69 days, demonstrating the company's ability to rapidly deploy its technology and establish an operating production facility. He described the Iceland project as an important validation of Syntholene's approach to reducing the structural costs associated with hydrogen and synthetic fuel production. The company's technology uses electrolysis to produce hydrogen from water, which is then combined with captured carbon to synthesize specific hydrocarbon molecules used in fuel production. Sutton said the company's intellectual property and its approach to integrating heat, electricity and proprietary technology are central to improving production efficiency and creating a competitive cost advantage. Looking ahead, Syntholene is focused on several commercial priorities over the next six to 12 months, particularly securing long-term offtake agreements with potential customers. The company is in discussions with airlines, fuel suppliers and gas companies, with airlines representing its preferred initial customer market. Sutton said securing long-term supply agreements could provide greater visibility into future revenue and margins, helping support discussions with investors and project finance partners. He emphasized that establishing these customer relationships and securing offtake commitments will be a key focus as Syntholene transitions from demonstrating its technology towards larger-scale industrial production. The interview also highlighted interest from industrial strategic partners seeking opportunities to participate in project equity and infrastructure development. These discussions could help the company establish the partnerships and financing required to expand its production capacity. Syntholene is now working to translate the results of its Iceland demonstration into a commercial development strategy, with customer agreements, strategic partnerships and project financing expected to play important roles in its next stage of growth. #proaxctiveinvestors #SyntholeneEnergyCorp #tsxv #esaf @otcqb #syntf #SyntheticFuel #SustainableAviationFuel #SAF #SyntheticJetFuel #Aviation #CleanEnergy #Hydrogen #CarbonCapture #GreenTechnology #Iceland #EnergyTransition
