Proactive - Interviews for investors

100.5 g/t gold result boosts AuMEGA Metals exploration

Episode Summary

AuMEGA Metals Ltd CEO and managing director Sam Pazuki talked with Proactive about standout high-grade gold results from the company’s 100%-owned Intersection Project in Newfoundland, including a surface sample grading 100.5 g/t gold. Pazuki said the result represents the second-highest grade rock sample ever collected across AuMEGA Metals’ property portfolio and the highest-grade sample collected from the Intersection property itself. The result came from an area that has seen very little historical exploration and forms part of the company’s systematic approach to building a pipeline of new drill targets. Two additional samples from Intersection returned grades of 23.8 g/t gold and 23.1 g/t gold. Pazuki said these initial results had helped open up a new area in a greenfield setting, with further rock and till assay results still pending. AuMEGA Metals is also progressing exploration across other parts of its Newfoundland portfolio. The company is drilling at Bunker Hill, awaiting assays from drilling around Cape Ray and assessing potential extensions to the existing resource corridor. Pazuki said the company is pursuing a three-pronged strategy spanning greenfield exploration, resource expansion and brownfield discovery opportunities. He added that exploration is expected to continue into the winter, with further drilling plans already under discussion and additional assay results expected to support ongoing target generation.
