Renforth Resources CEO Nicole Brewster joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss new drilling results from the company’s Victoria nickel-cobalt polymetallic deposit near Malartic, Québec, along with a new research collaboration with Queen’s University focused on developing a potentially more effective processing route for the large mineralized system. Renforth recently completed three drill holes totaling more than 1,000 metres to test the down-dip continuity of mineralization beneath the open pit that constrains the company’s September 2025 Mineral Resource Estimate. Brewster said all three holes intersected broad intervals of nickel-cobalt mineralization within the ultramafic host rocks, along with additional zones of zinc, copper and silver mineralization. The results successfully confirmed the continuity of mineralization within and immediately below the existing resource area and have now been provided to P&E Mining Consultants Inc. for consideration in the company’s ongoing resource work. One of the strongest indications of the system’s depth potential came from drill hole SUR-26-58, which ended in nickel mineralization at approximately 390 metres. The hole reached the end of the budgeted drilling program while still in mineralization, meaning the nickel-bearing system has not been closed off at depth. The company said the drilling was specifically designed to confirm continuity beneath and within the existing resource envelope, and the results achieved that objective. The fact that mineralization continued to the bottom of SUR-26-58 provides an additional target for future drilling as Renforth evaluates the deeper portions of the deposit. Renforth has also announced a research collaboration with Queen’s University’s Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining to investigate a novel hydrometallurgical process for recovering critical metals from Victoria while potentially sequestering carbon dioxide. The research is particularly relevant because mineralogical studies have shown that a portion of the nickel at Victoria is hosted within pyrrhotite rather than in discrete nickel sulphide minerals. #proacticeinvestors #renforthresources #cse #rfr otc #rfhrf #VictoriaProject #Nickel #Cobalt #NickelMining #CriticalMinerals #Hydrometallurgy #MineralProcessing #CarbonSequestration #QueenUniversity #QuébecMining #Malartic #Copper #Zinc #Silver #Polymetallic #MineralExploration #Mining #ResourceStocks
