Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF, FRA:M2Z) CEO Paul McGlone and CFO Martin Ive talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s interim financing extension with Magna, negotiations over a longer-term extension and the improving performance of the business. McGlone explained that Seeing Machines had made significant progress towards finalising an external refinancing package ahead of the 4 October maturity date. However, following recent discussions with Magna, the board determined that extending the existing loan notes could provide greater flexibility and the potential for a better long-term outcome. The interim extension moves the immediate maturity date to 30 November, giving Seeing Machines additional time to negotiate a longer-term arrangement. McGlone said discussions with Magna remained constructive, adding: “We expect to complete by the 30th of November. That’s really clear.” Ive said the financing process had not changed the company’s operational priorities or investment plans. He highlighted Seeing Machines’ FY26 performance, including a 135% increase in automotive royalty revenue to $33.9 million and automotive production volumes of around 4.5 million units, up just under 200%. Production volumes reached a record 2.1 million units in the June quarter. The executives also discussed momentum in automotive, growth in the aftermarket business and interest in Seeing Machines’ newly launched human-centred physical AI platform for robotic support. Seeing Machines currently expects to publish its FY26 audited results by the end of November alongside completion of the longer-term extension. The company also expects to hold investor meetings and a town hall presentation in London after the results are published, including demonstrations of its latest technology.
