Bradda Head's Ian Stalker: 'Proof of the pudding is in the drill bit' at Whistlejacket

Episode Summary

Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL) executive chairman Ian Stalker spoke with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the start of drilling at the Whistlejacket lithium project in Arizona, a joint venture with Rio Tinto's Kennecott Exploration Company. Stalker said the programme builds on previous exploration to give greater confidence in the scale and quality of the lithium system, filling gaps between more widely spaced historical drilling of already-identified lithium-bearing pegmatites. The work also draws on recent sampling since Bradda Head acquired the property, which Stalker said has sharpened targeting and identified several new areas, potentially expanding the resource beyond initial expectations. A key goal is generating enough data to support an NI 43-101 report and move Whistlejacket towards a maiden resource, with continuity and grade central to establishing the project's scale. "The proof of the pudding is in the drill bit," Stalker said. He also discussed the company's financial position following recent financing, saying it has "quite a long runway" as drilling and results progress. Stalker pointed to Whistlejacket's US location amid growing interest in domestic critical metals supply, adding that while Bradda Head will keep assessing other opportunities, these won't distract from its focus on Whistlejacket.
