1911 Gold Corporation CEO Shaun Heinrichs joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss encouraging metallurgical test results from the company’s True North Gold Project in Manitoba, along with progress on the recommissioning of the True North processing mill. The results demonstrate strong gold recoveries from both the True North and Ogama-Rockland deposits, supporting the company’s plans for future test mining and bulk sampling programs. Metallurgical testing on a 130-kilogram sample collected from the L10 Zone at True North delivered average total gold recoveries of 93.7%. Approximately 51% of the gold was recovered through gravity concentration, while an additional 44.5% reported to flotation concentrate. Subsequent leach testing of the reground flotation concentrate achieved average recoveries of 95.5%, highlighting the favorable metallurgical characteristics of the mineralization. The testing also demonstrated moderate reagent consumption, efficient leach times of between 24 and 48 hours, and a Bond Ball Mill Work Index indicating the material falls within the lower end of the medium-hardness range. At the Ogama-Rockland project, preliminary metallurgical testing delivered even stronger results. A composite sample grading 4.65 grams per tonne gold achieved total gold recovery of 96.3% using a gravity-flotation-regrind-leach process. Gravity concentration alone recovered 82% of the gold, while leaching of the flotation concentrate recovered 97.7% of the remaining gold. The results suggest that material from Ogama-Rockland could be highly amenable to processing through the True North mill. Heinrichs said the results confirm excellent recovery characteristics for both projects and demonstrate opportunities to further optimize flotation and leaching efficiencies. The company believes additional testing during upcoming bulk sampling and test mining activities could lead to further improvements in overall recoveries and processing economics. The company also reported progress on recommissioning the True North mill. A successful test run of the primary ball mill was completed following the installation of new liners, lifters, and a gear lubrication system. The work marks an important step toward preparing the facility for planned test mining and milling activities later this year. Environmental testing further strengthened the project's profile, confirming no acid-generating potential and no measurable deleterious metal leaching risk. These findings are consistent with the project's long operating history and support future development plans.
