Grey Matters Health CEO Christopher Moreau joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce several important milestones ahead of the planned opening of the company's flagship NovaScan Neuroimaging Clinics™ location in Davie, Florida, including a strategic imaging partnership, regulatory approval, and a financing initiative designed to support growth. Moreau said the company has signed a professional services agreement with ProScan Reading Services, a division of nationally recognized ProScan Imaging, to provide interpretation services for brain scans performed at the NovaScan clinic. ProScan's network of fellowship-trained, board-certified subspecialty radiologists currently provides remote teleradiology services to approximately 500 hospitals, medical centers and imaging facilities worldwide. Under the agreement, ProScan will interpret brain positron emission tomography (PET) scans conducted at NovaScan, including scans used to detect beta-amyloid plaques associated with Alzheimer's disease. The partnership will also support imaging evaluations for patients being assessed for frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson's disease, Lewy Body Dementia, and selected neuro-oncology applications. The radiologists will analyze high-resolution images generated by NovaScan's new FDA-cleared CareMiBrain™ brain-dedicated PET scanner and return detailed reports to NovaScan, which will then be provided to referring physicians and made available to patients through online access portals. For Alzheimer's disease assessments, ProScan will provide reports utilizing the Centiloid Scale, a standardized measurement system for interpreting amyloid PET scans. The Centiloid framework enables physicians to consistently measure and compare amyloid plaque burden across different studies and imaging tracers, supporting more accurate diagnosis and disease monitoring. In a separate development, Moreau confirmed that Grey Matters Health has now received its Radioactive Materials License (RML) from the State of Florida. The license is a key regulatory requirement that permits the handling and use of radioactive imaging materials necessary for PET scanning procedures and represents another significant step toward opening the clinic by September 30, 2026. The flagship NovaScan Neuroimaging Clinic will be located in Davie, Florida, and is expected to become one of the first dedicated brain PET imaging centers in the United States focused on the early detection and monitoring of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. #proactiveinvestors #greymettershealth #cse #grey #AlzheimersDisease #Neuroimaging #PETScan #HealthcareInnovation #BrainHealth #DementiaResearch #MedicalTechnology #NovaScan #HealthcareServices #MedicalTechnology #Parkinsons #HealthTech #DiagnosticImaging #HCAFloridaUniversityMedicalOfficeBuilding
