Pinnacle Silver and Gold CEO Robert Archer joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company’s ongoing underground drilling program at the El Potrero gold-silver project in Durango, Mexico, where drilling is focused on defining the size, shape and grade of mineralized zones within historic mine workings. Archer said 58 of 108 planned underground holes have now been drilled, with assays received for the first 37 holes. Most drilling has focused on the Pinos Cuates mine, located along the Dos de Mayo vein structure. Among the highlights is hole EPUG26035, drilled horizontally from the upper level of the Pinos Cuates workings. The hole extended the known mineralization approximately 20 metres to the northwest, returning 13.18 metres grading 9.69 g/t gold and 143 g/t silver. Within that interval, a 1.07-metre section containing visible fine-grained gold assayed 59.2 g/t gold and 424 g/t silver. Additional drilling has extended the southeast strike of the mineralized zone, with results of up to 9.54 g/t gold and 134 g/t silver over 1.5 metres. The company now believes the potential strike length of the Pinos Cuates mineralized zone extends to at least 70 metres. Archer said the Dos de Mayo vein displays the characteristics of a low-sulphidation epithermal breccia vein, with the company continuing to test the system from underground. Drilling is expected to move from Pinos Cuates to Dos de Mayo, followed by surface drilling planned for September and October. The surface program will target gaps between the historic mines, test the Dos de Mayo vein up and down dip and along strike, and provide the first drilling on additional mineralized veins including El Capulin and La Estrella. The combined results are expected to support an internal resource estimate that will form the basis for developing a preliminary mine plan. #proactiveinvestors #pinnaclesilverandgoldcrp #robertarcher #tsxv #pinn #otc #psgcf #ElPotrero #GoldMining #SilverMining #MexicoMining #UndergroundDrilling #HighGradeGold #SilverExploration #MineralExploration #PinosCuates #DosDeMayo #DrillingResults #ResourceDevelopment #Durango #MiningNews #ExplorationUpdate
