Royal Road CEO: Hanash North shaping up as 'significant' Saudi zinc-silver project

Episode Summary

Royal Road Minerals Ltd (TSX-V:RYR, OTC:RRDMF, FRA:RLU) CEO Dr Tim Coughlin tells Proactive's Stephen Gunnion the company is 18 drill holes into Hanash North in Saudi Arabia, defining what he calls a zinc-silver project of significant potential, helped by zinc being 2026's best-performing metal so far. Coughlin explained the project showed little at surface, with only a thin, average-grade copper hit from a 1980s Rio Tinto hole. By untangling complex structural geometry, Royal Road identified a target at depth: mineralisation now extends over 350 metres of strike, remains open in multiple directions, with down-hole thicknesses of up to 20 metres of zinc at shallow depths. He also pointed to gold appearing at certain depths as a vector suggesting a larger causative intrusion below, which the team plans to drill. All work so far has been reverse circulation; diamond drilling and further geophysics, including an ongoing self-potential survey, are next. On capital allocation, Coughlin confirmed recently raised cash is dedicated entirely to Colombia, where Royal Road believes it's the largest title holder, with the Saudi programme's advancement to be discussed with JV partners and major shareholders.
