ReElement part of $1.4B U.S. Defense partnership to scale domestic rare earth magnet production

Episode Summary

American Resources Corp CEO Mark Jensen joined Steve Darling to discuss a major development involving the company’s affiliated entity, ReElement Technologies Corporation. ReElement has entered into a $1.4 billion strategic partnership with the U.S. Department of War’s Office of Strategic Capital to accelerate the build-out of a 100% domestically sourced and vertically integrated rare earth magnet supply chain in the United States. The landmark initiative supports the expansion of ReElement’s collaboration with Vulcan Elements, combining critical materials processing with metallization and magnet manufacturing — capabilities currently dominated by foreign supply chains. Jensen noted that this partnership represents a transformational step toward national independence in rare earth magnet production, especially for NdFeB magnets, which are essential for defense systems, clean energy technologies, and electric vehicles. Under the OSC commitment, two major capital allocations will be deployed, each matched by private-sector investment. $620 million has been designated for Vulcan Elements and $80 million directed to ReElement Technologies This funding will fuel the scale-up of advanced processing infrastructure across both companies, enabling the U.S. to reach 10,000 metric tonnes of NdFeB magnet production capacity. According to Jensen, this expansion will dramatically narrow the current U.S. supply gap and reposition the country as a competitive force in rare earth industrial production. As part of the financing arrangement, the U.S. Department of War will receive warrants in ReElement Technologies, strengthening government alignment with the success of the program. The OSC loans are backed by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, federal legislation providing up to $100 billion in lending to accelerate domestic production of critical minerals and advanced materials, including those considered vital to U.S. national security and industrial resilience. #proactiveinvestors #americanresourcescorporation #nasdaq #arec #SustainableMining, #MineralRefining, #RecyclingInnovation, #CriticalMinerals, #RareEarthRecycling, #EVRecycling, #BatteryRecycling, #princialminerals #adamjohnson #RareEarths #EWasteRecycling #ReElement #CriticalMinerals #SustainableTech #MagnetRecycling #TechInnovation #GreenSupplyChain #ElectrifiedMaterials
