HeLIX Exploration PLC (AIM:HEX, OTCQB:HHEXF) CEO Bo Sears talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s continued progress at its flagship Rudyard Project, including preparations for the arrival of its PSA plant and the next steps toward helium production. Sears explained that the installation of the plant building allows equipment, including the PSA system and membranes, to be moved on-site. “The membrane has been manufactured, tested and is ready for production,” he said, adding that the assembly phase marks a key step toward first helium output. HeLIX is working with Wikota Design & Construction LLC and Nu Wave Services to complete the plant’s installation and connections. On commercialisation, Sears addressed market curiosity around offtake agreements, noting that “the helium exploration world right now is a graveyard of folks that over promise and under deliver,” emphasising the company’s methodical approach to demonstrate reliability to industrial gas customers. Sears also discussed ongoing preparations at Inez #1, where the company plans to test an upper interval once a workover unit is secured. Looking ahead, he confirmed that HeLIX plans to “drill more wells” as it develops what he described as “the largest new, one field helium discovery in the United States right now.” For more interviews and updates, visit Proactive’s YouTube channel.
