374Water Inc (NASDAQ:SCWO) CEO Chris Gannon talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s growing momentum in its Waste Destruction Services (WDS) business and the global demand for its AirSCWO technology. Gannon said the company is seeing "an immense amount of demand" for its waste destruction services, particularly from municipalities, state and federal government agencies, and industrial clients. The company’s AirSCWO systems can effectively destroy a wide range of organic waste — including biosolids and PFAS, the so-called “forever chemicals.” He highlighted that 374Water is now targeting the installation of its AirSCWO system at the Orange County Sanitation District by the end of this year or early next year. Once operational, the system will process biosolids directly from the facility. Looking ahead, Gannon said the company has signed an agreement with Crystal Clean to establish its first full-scale waste destruction service site, enabling it to bid for large federal contracts. He added that 374Water is also in advanced talks with other RCRA-permitted operators and is preparing for international expansion over the next year. According to Gannon, tightening PFAS and hazardous waste regulations globally present “massive tailwinds” for 374Water’s mission to provide sustainable waste management solutions.
