Midnight Sun Mining Corp Vice President Business Development Adrian O’Brien joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce encouraging initial drill results from the company’s Dumbwa Target in Zambia. The intercepts confirm the presence of a significant sulphide copper system at depth, marking an important step forward in advancing one of the company’s most promising exploration targets. Among the highlights, drilling returned 0.51% copper over 39.7 metres, including a higher-grade interval of 1.13% copper over 7 metres, as well as 0.48% copper over 25.9 metres. These results demonstrate both grade and continuity of copper mineralization within the target area. O’Brien explained that this early-stage program at Dumbwa is designed not only to test existing geological models but also to rapidly build a clearer understanding of the host structures controlling copper mineralization along the target’s approximately 20-kilometre strike length. The most recent holes, DBW-25-003 and DBW-25-007, have provided strong evidence of a robust mineralized system. Step-out drilling has confirmed the presence of multiple parallel shear zones with near-vertical orientation. In hole DBW-25-009, three distinct mineralized shear zones were intercepted, including the identification of a new parallel zone, expanding the mineralized footprint. Similarly, in hole DBW-25-010, up-dip confirmation of mineralization was observed across broad intervals, while additional mineralized zones were intersected to the west of the original shear zones identified in the discovery hole DBW-25-007. To expedite the exploration process, assays from DBW-25-009 and DBW-25-010 have been rush ordered from SGS Labs in Kalulushi, Zambia. Meanwhile, diamond drilling continues to track mineralization along strike to the north, with further step-outs planned to test the full scale of the system. #proactiveinvestors #midnightsunminingcorp #tsxv #mma #otc #mdngf #mining #CopperExploration #ZambiaMining #KazhibaProject #OxideCopper #FirstQuantum #MineralExploration #Mining2025 #CobaltExploration #MiningUpdates
