Standard Uranium Vice President of Exploration Sean Hillacre shared important news with Steve Darling from Proactive, announcing that the company has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Collective Metals to acquire a 75% interest in the Rocas Project through a three-year earn-in option. The Rocas Project covers 4,002 hectares in the highly prospective eastern Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan. It is strategically situated 75 kilometres southwest of the Key Lake Mine and Mill complex and about 72 kilometres south of the present-day Athabasca Basin margin. Initially staked by Standard Uranium in May 2023, the property has since been expanded by an additional 931 hectares, consolidating the company’s footprint in this underexplored area. Hillacre explained that Standard Uranium recently completed a high-resolution ground gravity survey along key conductive exploration trends at Rocas. These surveys have provided valuable subsurface insights that significantly enhance the definition of future drill targets. As a result, the company has now identified four new high-priority drill target zones, each delineated through a combination of low gravity anomalies, historical surface mineralization, lakebed geochemical anomalies, electromagnetic (EM) conductors, and crosscutting fault structures. Hillacre noted that entering into this LOI marks an important step toward advancing Rocas from an early-stage property to a fully drill-ready uranium exploration project. He emphasized that the earn-in partnership with Collective Metals aligns with Standard Uranium’s broader strategy of building strategic exploration alliances and systematically testing high-potential targets within the Athabasca Basin—one of the world’s premier uranium-producing regions. #proactiveinvestors #standarduraniumltd #tsxv #stnd #otcqb #sttdf #mining #uranium #sundogproject #UraniumExploration #AthabascaBasin #DavidsonRiver #MiningInnovation #Geophysics #rocasproject #AmbientNoiseTomography #ResourceInvesting #FleetSpace #UraniumDiscovery #MiningNews
