North Bay Resources Inc CEO Jared Lazerson talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s ongoing progress at its Bishop Gold Mill and broader operational strategy. Lazerson confirmed the second shipment of gold concentrate has been completed, marking continued momentum. He noted, “Optimization of the gravity circuit is pretty much done,” and explained that recent bottlenecks around water are being resolved through the installation of a recirculation pump. North Bay Resources is now focused on two key next steps: increasing throughput and bringing the flotation circuit online. The latter is expected to raise recoveries by at least 30%, with potential to double them. Lazerson said, “There’s a lot of fines in the mix... flotation circuit coming online... is the next big push.” With thousands of tonnes already stockpiled and near-surface extraction plans targeting 10,000 tonnes, the company is positioning for consistent production. Lazerson emphasized the importance of shipping logistics and noted the competitive cost structure despite the haul from British Columbia to the California mill. He also outlined a strategic shift away from exploration, stating, “We really have a clear path to cash flow... we really want to be known now as a producer and development company.” North Bay Resources continues to prioritize near-term production and economic efficiency as gold prices remain strong.
