Northstar Gold reports Copper-Gold-Silver discovery at Miller Property, plans follow-Up exploration

Episode Summary

Northstar Gold Corp CEO Brian Fowler Joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share partial results from the company’s seven-hole, 1,465-metre diamond drill program at the Miller Copper-Gold Property in Ontario. Conducted by Wiijiiwaagan Drilling Limited Partnership—a collaboration between Boart Longyear and the Matachewan First Nation—the program ran from November 23 to December 12. Fowler explained that the drill program targeted near-surface copper-gold-silver volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization and associated electromagnetic (EM), induced polarization (IP), and magnetic geophysical anomalies. The focus was on a 1,000-metre southeast strike extension of the historic, high-grade Cam Copper Mine VMS horizon, known for direct-shipping ore. The company is encouraged by initial results, which confirmed that all three holes intersected a stratiform, semi-massive to stringer pyrrhotite-dominated sulphide horizon containing anomalous gold and zinc concentrations over a 500-metre conductive strike length. Multiple intervals of semi-massive, gold-bearing sulphides were discovered in the footwall of a large rock unit, suggesting the presence of thicker, high-grade zones within the system. Looking ahead, Northstar plans to prioritize follow-up exploration along this newly identified gold horizon. The 2025 exploration program will include surface prospecting, 3D IP surveys, potential borehole IP surveying, and mobile metal ion soil geochemistry sampling. These initiatives aim to refine drill targets and identify thicker sulphide sections for future testing, advancing the Miller Property’s potential as a source of copper, gold, and silver mineralization. #proactiveinvestors #northstargoldcorp #cse #nsg #MiningNews #GoldDiscovery #CopperExploration #MillerProperty #KirklandLake #Investing #Gold #Copper #ProactiveInvestors
