Alkane Resources' Costerfield delivers high-grade gold-antimony hits

Episode Summary

Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK, OTC:ALKEF) managing director Nic Earner talked with Proactive about the latest high-grade gold-antimony results from the Costerfield operation in Victoria, as well as the company’s record FY26 revenue, capital management strategy and upcoming operational priorities. At Costerfield, Alkane has identified a new high-grade gold-antimony domain at the Cuffley Lode in an unmined area between the historical Cuffley north and south high-grade panels. Drilling included an exceptional intercept of 580.9 g/t gold and 24% antimony over 0.61 metres in hole AD270, including 1,360 g/t gold and 19.7% antimony over 0.25 metres. Other results included 168.9 g/t gold and 33.5% antimony over 0.9 metres and 60.1 g/t gold and 15.2% antimony over 1.26 metres. Earner said the discovery was characteristic of the opportunities that continue to emerge around the long-running Costerfield operation. The new pod is close to existing underground infrastructure and has been incorporated into the mine schedule. The interview also covered Alkane Resources’ record FY26 revenue, which Earner said had benefited significantly from the strong gold price. The company has confirmed a fully franked dividend of $0.02 per share and announced a $50 million share buyback over the next 12 months as part of its capital management strategy.
