Aruma Resources Ltd managing director Grant Ferguson talked with Proactive about the company’s expansion of its Tillex Copper-Silver Project in the Timmins area of Ontario and the additional exploration opportunities created by the larger landholding. The newly acquired area gives Aruma Resources a broader portfolio of exploration prospects, including potential additional copper targets and gold prospects. Ferguson said the acquisition complements the company’s existing exploration strategy and strengthens its focus on the asset and the wider region. Discussing the gold potential, Ferguson said early targets had been identified through till sampling, a technique that has been successfully used in Canada and elsewhere. He also highlighted the location within the Timmins area, which he described as a tier-one province for both copper and particularly gold. Aruma Resources plans to begin exploration as soon as possible, subject to required approvals. Initial work is expected to include ground reconnaissance and potentially soil sampling, followed by detailed magnetic work and further electromagnetic surveying.
